A plant vending machine has been installed in a shopping mall in Bangkok, Thailand.<br /><br />The unusual machine sells different house and garden plants from the Central World centre. <br /><br />Shoppers choose the plant they want - from ferns and cactus to orchards and roses. The plants range in price from 100 baht (3USD) to 500 baht (16USD).<br /><br />They then enter the details on a digital display before making payment with with cash of by scanning their bank's QR code. <br /><br />Payment releases the door to the plant and the shopper can take it home with them. <br /><br />The company behind the plant vending machine said it has ''the goal of getting people to plant trees, by making it easy and convenient to plant trees''.
