Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Malaysia’s arms industry will be developed to spur the country’s economy much like the national car industry.<br /><br />The premier said this at day two of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace 2019, adding that developing an arms industry could also help Malaysia become a developed nation, but Malaysia had to learn the technology.
