The people of New York gathered to protest throughout New York City for the shooting of Jacob Blake on Monday. (August 24)<br /><br />Blake was shot in the back seven times by an officer in Kenosha, Wisconsin over the weekend.<br /><br />About 500 protesters gathered in Times Square, marching downtown along 7th Avenue chanting and holding signs.<br /><br />The protesters then marched down Broadway and to City Hall, then over the Brooklyn Bridge and to Park Slope 78th precinct.
