The National Bioproducts Institute has joined the International COVID-19 Plasma Alliance to develop a therapy to treat severe cases. The clinical trials to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment will start later this month. If successful, the Alliance will submit the results for regulatory approval by the end of the year.
