A naughty five-year-old boy was rescued after getting himself stuck in a washing machine while planning to prank his mother by hiding inside.<br /><br />Wanwipa Chaikhaw, 29, was doing laundry while her son, Aao, played with a water basin in their house in Nakhon Ratchasima province, northeastern Thailand on August 22.<br /><br />When she went out to hang the clothes, the naughty boy thought of pranking his mother by hiding inside the washing machine dryer.<br /><br />Aao climbed into the washing machine, but his body was way bigger than the capacity so his legs were stuck inside as he tried to wriggle free.<br /><br />He then tried to pull himself out, but his leg was stuck inside the gaps between the machine's motor.<br /><br />The frantic mother immediately called the emergency services for help after seeing her frightened son screaming.<br /><br />She said: "I heard my son shout so I left the laundry and ran back inside. I saw him crying, saying that his foot was stuck so I called for help."<br /><br />The five rescuers tilted the machine so the boy could crawl out easily, but his foot was still stuck on the lower part.<br /><br />They decided to cut the thick layer of the plastic tank using electric cutting gear. The boy was given a smelling stick to stop him from feeling sick from the burning plastic.<br /><br />The removal lasted more than 30 minutes before Aao was finally freed from the washing machine.<br /><br />The grateful mother said: "I never thought that my son would be doing this. I hope he has learned an important lesson.''<br /><br />After the rescue, the volunteers were amused about the naughty boy. One of the team said: "This might be one of the most difficult but cutest cases we have ever assisted with."
