Hoard of 1,100-year-old gold coins unearthed in central Israel

Israel's Antiquities Authority unveils a trove of 425 pure gold coins said to be some 1,100 years old, dating to the Abbasid Caliphate, discovered in what was an industrial area near Rehovot in central Israel.
