The Tashas network has grown to 18 restaurants in South Africa, with an additional eight in the United Arab Emirates. Famous Brands held a majority 51 percent stake in the café, with the Sideris family, holding the remaining 49 percent. But along came COVID-19 and Famous Brands is realigning its strategy. Natasha Sideris founded Tashas in 2005.
