Indian officials rescued an elephant that had fallen into a roadside ditch in Bore Forest, Hanur.<br /><br />Locals immediately alerted forest officials after finding that a tusker had fallen into a ditch.<br /><br />Forest officials with the help of fire and emergency services managed to remove the elephant from the ditch with the help of an excavator.<br /><br />The elephant was later released into the forest. This footage was filmed on August 26.
