초강력 허리케인 로라 접근에 미 초긴장…멕시코만 50만명 대피<br /><br />People living along the Gulf Coast of the U.S. are on high alert as Hurricane Laura, a Category 4 storm, is set to hit near the Texas and Louisiana border early Thursday local time.<br />The U.S. National Hurricane Center warns that Laura is expected to cause "catastrophic damage" and "unsurvivable storm surge."<br />Hundreds of thousands of people have been ordered to evacuate their homes.<br />Bloomberg, citing Enki Research, said the hurricane could cause as much as 25 billion U.S. dollars in damage.<br />
