Dr. Nam removes a giant living leech from a man's nose in a hospital of Nghe An Province, Vietnam.<br /><br />Dr. Nam said that the man went to the hospital and said that an animal had entered his nose and caused him pain.<br /><br />After examination, the doctor discovered that there was a giant leech up his nose.<br /><br />The man said that he swam across a stream and a leech might have entered his nose.<br /><br />The doctor said the leech was attached to the man's nasal canal and sucked blood.<br /><br />The leech damaged several parts of the nasal passages and this is the cause for pain. Luckily, the leech did not go deep inside.<br /><br />The man will need several days of treatment to heal the wound in his nose.<br /><br />The video was filmed with the patient's permission. <br />Video captured on August 12, 2020.
