태풍 '마이삭' 3일 오전 부산 접근…필리핀 해상서 북상중<br /><br />The ninth typhoon of the season, Typhoon Maysak, is approaching the Korean peninsula from waters off the east coast of the Philippines.<br />According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the tropical storm formed some one-thousand kilometers northeast of Manila at 3 PM Friday.<br />Approximate locations based on a 10 AM forecast show the typhoon will reach some 290 kilometers south of Jeju Island at 9AM on September 2nd, next Wednesday.<br />If it maintains its current direction, it'll bring heavy downpours and strong winds to the nation's southern regions, as it sweeps by near the southern port city of Busan early next Thursday.<br />
