A British passenger on board a ferry from the Netherlands to the UK recently found himself virtually alone amid ongoing coronavirus restrictions. <br /><br />"The Stena Britannica "super ferry" has a capacity of 1,200 and would normally be full during summer," explained the filmer Tony Fisher.<br /><br />"However due to the quarantine rules, it was virtually empty on August 24th," he added.<br /><br />The video he filmed shows deck after deck completely empty.<br /><br />"With barely any passengers staff did not bother opening bars, restaurants, the shop or even the information desk," said Fisher.<br /><br />"We can only hope the captain was at his post," he joked.<br /><br />The current advice on the UK government website reads: "If you are returning to the UK from the Netherlands on or after 15 August, you may need to self-isolate on your return."
