Chadwick Boseman was referred to as "the next Denzel Washington".<br />CNN reports Denzel was also the first one to remember Boseman as a "gentle soul."<br />Washington released a statement to several outlets including "Entertainment Tonight".<br />His statement paid tribute to Boseman who died last week at the age of 43 years old.<br />Boseman died after a four-year battle with colon cancer, which was kept from the public.<br />He will be remembered fondly for his portraits on the big screen, including Black Panther.
