A large herd of elephants was spotted crossing a national highway in the eastern Indian state of Odisha.<br /><br />The incident took place in National Highway 55 of Dhenkanal district on August 22.<br /><br />Footage shows the herd crossing from one side of the highway to the other, as people stop their vehicles to watch.<br /><br />According to local reports, the National Highways Authority of India is commencing construction work for an elephant underpass.
