Police arrested several protesters participating in Extinction Rebellion's September action after they refused to leave Parliament Square on Tuesday evening (September 1).<br /><br />The Met Police imposed conditions meaning the protest had to finish at 7pm. Many left at this time, but some tried to stay.<br /><br />More than 90 protesters were arrested on Tuesday. The climate change activist group are promising further disruption in the coming days.
