Activists from Extinction Rebellion ended up temporarily shutting down a branch of Barclays in London's Piccadilly Circus on Wednesday (September 2).<br /><br />Protesters gathered outside the branch over Barclays' investments into fossil fuels. One put tape on the pavement outside reading "climate crime scene"<br /><br />The staff inside the branch refused to let customers in after the protesters arrived and one managed to enter & demonstrate inside the bank.
