This is the hilarious moment party organisers created a plastic barrier so they can still dance with a partner while maintaining social distancing.<br /><br />Dondon Cainto and friends were setting up the venue for a birthday party in Eastern Samar, the Philippines when they thought of creating the social distancing barrier on August 21.<br /><br />Footage shows Dondon's friends dancing Cha-cha while two others hold the barrier on either side so that the dancers will keep their distance from each other.<br /><br />Dondon said: "This is our new normal Cha-Cha dance during the pandemic. Everyone can now enjoy and stay protected at the same time."<br /><br />People are allowed to gather in social events as long the group is kept small of up to 10 attendees only under the community quarantine rules in the country.<br /><br />The Philippines currently has 224,000 confirmed Covid-19 cases and counting with more than 3,500 deaths. It also implemented the longest-running lockdown in the world.
