Fire crews were called to rescue a hapless cow after it got stuck in a drainage canal on March 8, 2019.<br /><br />The rescue video shows the animal up to its waist after it stumbled into the water in Sangli, western India. <br /><br />Firefighters used specialist equipment and a giant harness attached to a heavy-lifting loader to lift the cow out of the water.<br /><br />According to local media, the owner of the cow had previously climb down in the canal and observed the animal was bleeding after a piece of glass had pierced its leg.<br /><br />Vet, Dr. Avinash Visalkar Animal Rahat, examined the cow and no major injury was observed on the body of the animal.
