Residents trapped in a burning building climbed seven storeys down on a water pipe to escape in southern China.<br /><br />The video, filmed in the city of Nanning in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on September 3, shows the huge fire engulfing the roof of a building and the heavy smoke rising into the air.<br /><br />In another clip, a person was seen climbing down the building from the sixth-floor on a water pipe.<br /><br />18 fire engines and 70 firemen arrived on the site to extinguish the fire.<br /><br />Four trapped people all escaped the burning building successfully by climbing down themselves. No casualties were reported.<br /><br />The case is in further investigation and the video was provided by local media with permission.
