Fewer than 200 COVID-19 cases in S. Korea, but cluster infections continue to emerge

신규확진 168명, 사흘째 100명대…소폭 감소세속 산발감염 지속<br /><br />South Korea reported 169 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, keeping the figure below two-hundred for three days in a row.<br />But local health authorities remain on high alert as existing cluster infections continue to expand and create new ones.<br />Most of the new cases are from the Seoul metropolitan area.<br />To better control the virus prevention system, the government has extended level two-point-five social distancing measures for the greater Seoul area for another week.<br />The enhanced rules were due to expire this Sunday.<br />However, 'Level Two' guidelines will be maintained for other regions until September 20th.<br />That means indoor gatherings of more than 50 people, including religious gatherings, are prohibited.<br />
