HuffPost reports Boston's Northeastern University has dismissed 11 freshman students for the fall semester.<br />They were discovered all together in one hotel room and were thrown out for violating campus social distancing guidelines.<br />Northeastern and its community of students, faculty, and staff take violations of health and safety protocols very seriously. Madeleine Estabrook Senior Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Northeastern University<br />The university said all students had been formally notified multiple times to practice physical distancing, avoid crowds, and wear masks when around others.<br />Staff members said the summarily ejected students would not be reimbursed for tuition and fees for the fall semester.
