Typhoon Haishen to reach S. Korea's east coast Monday morning

태풍 하이선 동해안 따라 북상…오늘 밤부터 전국에 비바람 예상<br /><br />South Korea is about to get hit by a third tropical storm in just two weeks.<br />Typhoon Haishen is on its way north from Okinawa, Japan right now towards South Korea's east coast.<br />Arirang's Jang Tae-hyun is at the Pohang passenger ship terminal in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.<br />Tae-hyun, how's it looking down there?<br />Devin, it's windy and cloudy,... but it's not raining much yet.<br />The Pohang passenger terminal is where boats leave for Ulleung Island, but they've all been cancelled because of Typhoon Haishen.<br />The storm was expected to pass right through the middle of South Korea, but now it's forecast to arrive at the east coast of the Gyeongsang-do Provinces on Monday.<br />The Korean weather agency says the typhoon is likely to arrive in waters some 80 kilometer east of Busan at around 9 AM,... then pass through the East Sea, moving North.<br />Busan is expecting 100 to 300 millimeters of rain and a wind speed up to about 145 kilometers an hour.<br />That's strong enough to send rocks flying and flip over cars.<br />As of 9 AM on Sunday, the country has raised the landslide alert to its highest level in several regions like Jeju Island, Busan, Ulsan and Jeollanam-do Province.<br />I'll be staying here for the night and will be back for Monday's weather forecasts.<br />Back to you, Devin.<br />
