I'm Kim Jae-hee.<br />We begin with massive wildfires raging in California amid a sizzling heatwave.<br />More than two hundred people trapped in a camping area in California were airlifted to safety over the weekend, as wildfire rapidly spread in central California.<br />About 20 of the evacuees reportedly had injuries ranging from broken bones to burns.<br />California has been dealing with heatwaves and some of the worst outbreaks of wildfires in years.<br />According to local authorities, nearly 15-thousand firefighters were battling 23 fires across the state as of Sunday morning.<br />Many locations in California also registered record-high temperatures on Saturday, which experts say amplified the fires.<br />
