This is the gruesome moment a baby rat snake swallowed a whole gecko for dinner.<br /><br />The pet caught the gecko when it mistakenly wandered its enclosure in Krabi province, southern Thailand.<br /><br />It took the snake a few minutes before it was able to swallow the whole reptile, which was noticeably thicker than the serpent.<br /><br />One of the locals who witnessed the incident said: "There was no chance for the gecko to escape alive.''
