Joe Prude, brother of Daniel Prude, a black man who died after being physically restrained by police officers in Rochester, New York, addressed a crowd on Friday (September 4) that had gathered in his honour.<br /><br />The clip shows Prude thanking the crowd and admiring them for the compassion they have for him and his family after the death of his brother.<br /><br />Daniel Prude suffocated to death after officers put him in a "spit hood" designed to protect police from detainees' saliva.<br /><br /><br />"This is an unstoppable moment right here," Prude says to the crowd.<br /><br />"Now everybody out here is from a different upbringing and different ethnicity, and we've got this much consideration and compassion for one another? Now let's make an ass and a mockery out of them!" he continues.
