Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed that firefighters attended a three-vehicle collision on Atkinson Road, at 8.08pm, on Tuesday, September 8.<br />A fire service spokeswoman said that the North East Ambulance Service also attended the incident but no one was taken to hospital.<br />Emergency services have left the scene.<br />
