Emergency services have been called to an incident near to the Asda superstore on Leechmere Road in Sunderland.<br />Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that crews are currently dealing with an incident on Leechmere Road, near to the Asda superstore.<br />Crews from South Shields and Hebburn fire stations were called at 9.27pm on Tuesday, September 8 and remain on scene.<br />The fire service was unable to confirm the nature of the incident at this time.
