The Manchester Police Department received a complaint against Officer Aaron Brown in January 2018.<br />The message detailed how Brown intentionally damaged property while executing search warrants.<br />During an investigation into his actions, they found extremely disturbing racist texts sent from his phone.<br />Police Chief Carlo Capano is refusing to reinstate Brown despite the urge to do so from the police union.<br />The Manchester Police Patrolman Association police union demands he be reinstated and given backpay.<br />Chief Capano is fighting Brown's reinstatement, stating that "bad cops are bad for the force".
