한국, 유네스코 무형유산위원국 세번째 당선<br /><br />South Korea has been elected as a member of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.<br />At the 8th session of the General Assembly, South Korea won support from 80 out of one-hundred-46 countries.<br />This means Seoul can be part of the final say on whether a property is inscribed on the World Heritage List as well as defining the use or allocating the funds.<br />This is the third time South Korea has become one of the 21 States Parties.<br />The term of office is usually four years,... but a country cannot serve consecutive terms and has to wait two years for another chance.<br />
