A man was injured after his motorbike's chain snapped sending him skidding along the road.<br /> <br />Footage shows the unlucky rider losing control and slamming into the ground in Kalasin, northeastern Thailand, on September 8.<br /> <br />Passersby rushed to help the man who was lying face down on the road while they called the emergency rescuers for help.<br /> <br />Paramedics arrived on the scene and applied first aid to grazes on his legs. He also had minor scratches on his head, arms, hands, and knees.<br /> <br />They took him to the hospital afterwards where he stayed overnight before being released.<br /> <br />Speaking at the hospital, the rider said he was heading back home from the market when his chain suddenly busted out of his bike.<br /> <br />He said: "I was startled when I crashed and hit the ground. It could have been much worse if it was on a busy road with other vehicles.''
