Police officers were seen guarding the Winston Churchill statue in Parliament Square on Saturday (September 12) as Trans Pride marchers began to arrive.<br /><br />Protesters chanted "Churchill was a racist" and "save lives not statues".<br /><br />The famous statue was defaced again only two days ago by an Extinction Rebellion protester.
