A herd of elephants strayed into a rice field foraging for food in Sri Lanka on September 10.<br /><br />The video, filmed in the town of Mathugama in Kalutara district, shows the herd marching across the field.<br /><br />According to reports, the elephants came to the rice fields to seek newly harvested rice. <br /><br />According to locals, the animals return to the forest during the day and only come out at night.
