美 경제차관, 내일 대만 방문... 중국 반발 예상<br /><br />Amid intensifying tensions between Washington and Beijing, U.S. Under Secretary for Economic Growth, Keith Krach, will visit Taiwan later this week.<br />Local media reports say,... upon Krach's visit, the U.S. and Taiwan will officially kick-start new economic and commercial dialogue.<br />The U.S. announced the talks after President Tsai Ing-wen said in late August that Taiwan will lift its ban on American beef and pork from January next year.<br />Washington says the relationship will further strengthen bilateral economic ties and boost collaboration in technology and energy.<br />Krach is the most senior official from the U.S. State Department to visit Taiwan.<br />
