One of the world's biggest Tyrannosaurus skeletons up for auction

6천7백만년 된 '티라노사우루스 화석' 크리스티 경매 전 첫 공개<br /><br />One of largest and most complete Tyrannosaurus skeletons unearthed is to be auctioned off.<br />Made up of one-hundred-88 bones, the dinosaur fossil is 40 feet long, 13 feet high, and is approximately 67 million years old.<br />The dinosaur even has a name "Stan" named after an amateur paleontologist who first discovered his bones in 1987.<br />Christie's, the auction house selling off the T-rex, says the estimated value of the specimen is between 6 million to 8 million U.S. dollars.<br />Stan will be displayed at Christie's in New York, until the auction on October 6th.<br />And that does it for today's edition of 'The World Now'.
