This is the heartwarming moment a baby trapped inside a flooded house with her father was rescued using a bathtub.<br /><br />Neighbours helped a family evacuate their house when the flash floods from tropical storm Leon submerged their village in Cebu City, the Philippines on September 15.<br /><br />One of the villagers, Eric Trasona, said that it rained hard throughout the day and hoped that it would stop after a few hours.<br /><br />However, everyone rushed out of their homes when the water suddenly rose up to 4ft-high in the night.<br /><br />Meanwhile, the family with a three-month-old baby was trapped inside because they live at the end of the street.<br /><br />Eric said: "We heard his father calling for help because he was trapped with his baby. We immediately searched for a basin to help them out."<br /><br />The kind neighbours called the local officers to bring a boat for rescue and while waiting they helped each other save the trapped family.<br /><br />They found a discarded bathtub and tied a rope in one end so they can pull the father and his baby to higher ground.<br /><br />A brave man volunteered to swim in the flood and take the basin to the end of the street where the family was.<br /><br />The baby and his father were rescued after almost half an hour before local officials came to the area and evacuate the residents.<br /><br />The affected families were taken to a nearby school building to stay for the night until the flood recedes and the weather condition gets better.
