Moon reaffirmed South Korea's firm determination for peace.<br />The president said that the implementation has been slow as the two Koreas haven't been able to overcome internal and external constraints.<br />He recalled the inter-Korean summit in September 2018 when he and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un pledged denuclearization and peace on the Korean Peninsula saying that it was precious progress... made possible due to the people's hope and support from the international community.<br />There's been little progress in the peace process since the no-deal Hanoi summit between North Korea and the U.S. in 2019.<br />
