'비수도권' 거리두기 2단계 연장…추석이 고비<br /><br />South Korea has decided to extend the strengthened distancing measures in provinces outside the greater Seoul area.<br />"Considering the fact that the Chuseok holiday is approaching in a week,... easing distancing measures will only cause chaos and increase the possibility of an outbreak. We decided to extend the current level 2 distancing measures even in provinces outside the capital region until next Sunday."<br />During the holiday season, people tend to travel across the country to visit their families... and this might result in a surge of more COVID-19 cases.<br />The government also said that it would impose strengthened disinfection measures nationwide, starting from September 28th to October 11th.<br />
