This was the calming moment when a herd of giraffes in South Africa's Kruger National Park formed a silhouette at dusk on July 28.

The footage shows the heard meandering through the bush as the red sky in the background accentuates the tall and shadowy figures.

The filmer explained: "During a late afternoon self-drive safari in the Kruger National Park, I had luck on my side and found a small group of giraffes, at a special time of the day, standing at the right angle at the top of a slope.

"The setting was for me just so perfect, calming and a little overwhelming at the same time.

"I could not believe the elegance and beauty of the tall silhouettes slowly moving around in the last light of the day.

"I became so carried away that I totally forgot to record any of the moment at first, which is not always a bad thing I suppose.

"Luckily, I managed to capture a few short moments with the amazingly calming sounds that added to the total ambiance of the moment.

"I realized that I filmed this moment not only for memory keeping but also to share this peaceful moment in the African bush with people all around the world.

"A little bit of peaceful Mother Nature has many a time make many people feel a little better, even if it is just for a short while."
