러시아 디자이너, 폐플라스틱으로 친환경 액세서리 만들어<br /><br />These colorful jewelry pieces are actually made out of upcycled plastic.<br />A Russian souvenir maker has adapted her business to make accessories from plastic waste.<br />The designer says her work is dedicated to bringing awareness to environmental issues with eco-friendly, but aesthetically pleasing goods.<br />Her original business was making souvenirs for museums.<br />She got the idea to start this new project when a corporate client asked her to make promotional items from plastic waste.<br />She's sold about two-thousand jewelry pieces since she started in June, and five percent of sales have gone to a charity project that promotes recycling.<br />
