Airport officials have arrested four people involved in smuggling gold, mobile phones and drones in southern India's Tamil Nadu.<br /><br />The incident took place in Chennai International Airport of Chennai on September 23 morning.<br /><br />Footage of the smuggling bust shows an official cutting through an undergarment to pull out the hidden gold.<br /><br />They can also be seen inspecting mobile phones and drones confiscated in the operation.<br /><br />According to the reports, the accused are said to be smuggling gold, phones and drones from Dubai and Kuwait.<br /><br />The customs official recovered smuggled goods including 570 grams of gold worth $40,629 (INRs 30 lakhs), mobile phones worth $44,695 (INRs 33 Lakhs) and several drones.<br /><br />The arrested hailed from Andhra Pradesh and Virudhunagar.<br /><br />According to latest updates, the officials have arrested the passengers and are investigating into the matter.
