Locals took off their socks and shoes to walk home through flooded roads after heavy rain in Bangkok, Thailand, this afternoon (September 23).<br /><br />Thunder and lightning crashed over the city before downpours caused flash floods on the city's busy roads in the Huai Khwang district.<br /><br />Drivers had to battle through the deluge while workers and students returning home in the evening were soaked while walking through the water.<br /><br />Thailand and other countries in Southeast Asia going through their annual rainy season which seas regular downpours and floods on roads.
