Footage from Thursday evening (September 24) shows empty aisles on the very last day of the Elephant And Castle shopping centre in south London, which originally opened in March 1965. <br /><br />The shopping centre will be shut down and demolished, with many traders who had stores unable to relocate. <br /><br />The famous elephant statue will be moved to neighbouring Castle Square.
