This is the dramatic moment two brothers were rescued after being trapped in the middle of a raging flash flood in Indonesia.<br /> <br />Egha Gusliandi, 27, was sleeping when his younger sibling Rizky, 9, woke him up as water reached their room, in Sukabumi Regency, West Java.<br /> <br />The water was ankle-deep when Egha suddenly heard the torrents. It was rising fast so he thought they should escape to higher ground.<br /> <br />He grabbed his younger brother but just as they were crossing the street, a raging flash flood swept them away to the submerged rice fields.<br /> <br />Egha did not let go of his brother while drifting on the violent currents until he hit a boulder and held onto it until the rescuers found them.<br /> <br />Speaking after, he said: "I am glad we were saved, but most of all I am happy that I did not let go of my brother. I am thankful to the people who helped us."<br /> <br />The rescuers crossed the flash flood that had already receded when the two brothers were found.<br /> <br />They tied a safety harness on their bodies and assisted them to safer ground.<br /> <br />The two were given first aid before they were taken to a nearby hospital in Cicurug district.<br /> <br />They both suffered deep cuts and wounds on their legs and arms but were allowed to go home the next day.<br /> <br />Flash floods in Sukabumi killed at least three people and washed away 12 houses and several vehicles while damaging an hundreds of properties.
