홍남기 "11월 1∼15일 온라인 중심으로 코리아세일페스타 개최"<br /><br />South Korea's annual sales campaign, Korea Sale Festa, will be mainly based on non-contact platforms this year to boost spending amid the COVID-19 pandemic.<br />Finance Minister Hong Nam-ki gave details of the plan on Monday during a meeting with economy-related ministers.<br />He said the two-week sales campaign aims to help small business owners overcome the economic difficulties posed by the pandemic.<br />The event, which runs from November 1st to 15th, will take place in compliance with strict virus prevention measures and the main focus will be on online and non-contact platforms like live commerce shows and drive-thru stores.<br />The government will also cut tax for certain stores.<br />
