Malaysia reported 89 new cases of Covid-19 in the 24 hours up to noon today, of which 86 were locally acquired infections while three were imported cases.<br /><br />In addition, two new deaths were recorded, bringing the country’s Covid-19 death toll to 136.<br /><br />Amid the fatalities, admissions to the intensive care unit (ICU) grew for the third consecutive day from six cases on Sunday to 16.
