Even though the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to hand over the entire probe into the Hathras 'gangrape' case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the three-member Special Investigation Team constituted by the state government to look into the case is carrying on its investigation. <br /> <br />The SIT is the victim's village and recorded the victim's father's statement today.
