Three Minnesota congressmen took a commercial Delta flight just two days after being on Air Force One with President Donald Trump.<br />Business Insider reports Republican Reps. Pete Stauber, Tom Emmer, and Jim Hagedorn flew on the same flight to Washington DC on Friday night.<br />That was just several hours after President Donald Trump tested positive for the coronavirus. Now, they're facing backlash for their choice to do so.<br />These congressmen's stupidity and disregard for the well-being of their fellow passengers is staggering. Ken Martin Chairman of the Minnesota Democratic Party<br />But the trio is passing the buck and blaming the airline.<br />Hagedorn claimed they'd informed the airline of the situation beforehand and that it was Delta's 'decision to fly based upon the facts.'<br />All three congressmen later tested negative for COVID-19.<br />The White House is having a major coronavirus outbreak. In addition to Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, 10 GOP officials have tested positive for the virus.
