아르메니아•아제르바이잔 교전 확대...분쟁지역 밖에서도 충돌<br /><br />Clashes between Armenia and Azerbaijan have raged for over a week now, over the separatist region of Nagorno-Karabakh.<br />Hundreds of people are known to have been killed since the clashes first erupted on September 27th.<br />The two former Soviet republics have been locked in a territorial dispute for decades over Nagorno-Karabakh,... which is internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan, but is controlled by local ethnic Armenian forces.<br />The latest fighting has mainly taken place in the area, but has been spreading further afield in recent days.<br />Most of the international community has already called for an immediate ceasefire.<br />
