Vu Ang Nguyen worked as a selling support associate for Amazon.com in Tempe, Arizona.<br />That gave him the power to manually authorize refund requests. And according to Business Insider, he sure did. A lot.<br />Nguyen was arrested and charged with fraud last week after the company reported him to the FBI.<br />Federal prosecutors say in court documents that Nguyen used his position to issue $96,508 in fraudulent refunds to himself and friends.<br />Nguyen allegedly used eight fake buyer accounts to purchase expensive computers and electronics before issuing more than 300 refunds to the accounts.<br />He then funneled the money to himself and his associates without returning the electronics.
