세계 동물의 날 맞아 필리핀 '드라이브 스루' 반려동물 세례식 진행<br /><br />Animal lovers in Manila, Philippines had their pets blessed in an unusual drive-through ceremony on Sunday, to mark World Animal Day.<br />The international day of action for animal rights and welfare, is celebrated every year on October 4th.<br />But this year's ceremony was quite different, as it took the form of a drive-through, to ensure social distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic.<br />All types of pets including cats, dogs, and birds patiently waited inside their owners' cars, as they were sprinkled with holy water by a Catholic priest.<br />The owners and their furry friends had to wait in a long line of vehicles for their turn, but all welcomed the precautionary measures, recognizing the importance of safety.<br />
